Charlie is available for private
chartering up to 26 persons. Ideal for birthdays, office
outings, anniversaries etc.
A. The Tunnel Mouth. From outside the canal
Museum, past the moored boats, into the wooded cutting
and inside the mouth of Blisworth tunnel. Takes 25
minutes.
£3.00 per adult, £2.50 per child under 16
B. The Tunnel Experience. From the Museum through
Blisworth tunnel to the village of Blisworth and return
- about one and three quarter hours.
Whole boat price: £180
C. The Junction Cruise. From the Museum,
through the tunnel, past Blisworth village to Gayton
Junction and return. This takes about two and a half
hours.
Whole boat price: £220
D. Rothersthorpe Ramble. A trip of three
hours will take the party through the tunnel and on to
the Northampton arm of the canal, with fine views over
Northampton. Time is available there to stretch your
legs, admire the view and inspect the locks.
Whole boat price: £250
Although there is no catering on board the
boat, you are welcome to bring your own food or picnics.
Please state at the time of booking if you intend to do
this.
The boat is also fitted with a toilet.
